Dr. Dennis Henderson—Keynote Speaker Singles Conference

Dr. Dennis Henderson comes to us from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has authored several books relating to singles as well as having produced a series of DVD’s. He has served as a single pastor, as a Christian Education pastor, and as a senior pastor.  He is the author of Living Single Again and founder of Single Initiative,  www.livingsingleagain.com

Living Single Again grew out of need.  Dr. Dennis Henderson was leading a DivorceCare ministry in a local church and found people repeating the same programs two, three, some even more times. They needed the next step.  At that point, he added two additional programs to the DivorceCare program:  Divorce Recovery and Fresh Start. 

Gary Pratt—Keynote speaker Leadership Conference

Gary has a heart to encourage singles and single parents for more than twenty years as the Singles Coordinator in the District of Texas and Okla­homa States. He speaks with passion and compassion. He is engaging, warm, humorous, informative and energetic. He keeps his message simple. He currently serves as Associate Pastor at First Assemblies of God, Lawton, Oklahoma.

Crystal Hicks—Worship Leader

We are very pleased to have Crystal Hicks and her group lead the Worship throughout the weekend for the second year in a row.  She is considered as one of the top worship leaders in British Columbia.
Crystal has had many opportunities to use her singing ability, traveling ex­tensively throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as making several televi­sion appearances.   She has performed at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancou­ver with the Trinity Western Choirs and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and has been a guest performer with the Canadian Tenors.  She has many opportunities to minister as a guest worship leader, speaker and soloist at churches, retreats, conferences and Christian Women’s Clubs.
Crystal is originally from the Bahamas but now resides in Abbotsford, B.C.  For the past fourteen years she has been Worship and Arts Leader at the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church. We are blessed to have Crystal and her group return.

Phil Callaway — Saturday Evening Banquet Speaker

Linda Pender—Workshop Speaker

This will be the fourth year that Linda will participate in the Conference.  Numerous singles have requested that she return for another year. Linda is a single person and she brings more than 20 years of experi­ence working with singles and singles’ groups.  She is a counselor and a noted conference speaker.  Her speaking engagements have brought her to many areas of Canada and the USA.  She comes to us from the Seattle Washington area and will be conducting several workshops such as "How to walk in Godly Sexuality" and "Betrayed - Rejected - Freedom". Her passion is to help those who are caught in the turmoil of fear and distress. She is an encourager!

Grace Fox—Workshop Speaker  

Grace Fox is an international speaker, World Vision ambassador, and award-winning freelance writer whose articles have appeared in magazines including Power for Living and Today’s Christian Woman. She’s the author of the popular 10-Minute Time Out devotional seriesand Moving From Fear to Freedom: A Woman’s Guide to Peace in Every Situation, and a trusted guest on radio and television programs including “It’s a New Day” and “100 Huntley Street.
A former missionary to Nepal, Grace now lives in Abbotsford and co-directs In­ternational Messengers Canada with her husband Gene, encouraging and equipping others to participate in short-term and career opportunities in Eastern Europe. www.gracefox.com

Debbie Pratt—Workshop Speaker

Debbie shares a warm insight into issues facing today's women. She loves to encourage women in understanding their value to God and finding true joy and fulfillment in their relationship with Him. More than anything else she loves to see lives flourish and transformed by the power of God! Debbie is also a Certified Praise Moves Instructor. Praise Moves is the Christian alternative to Yoga.

Nicki and Booth Fowler—Workshop Speakers

Booth and Nicki Fowler have worked with Christian singles ministry for the past 7 years overseeing the “Common Ground” and “Crossroads” ministries of Cornwall Church in Bellingham, Washington. They have been married for 8 years now after both had experienced a “single again” part of life. Their passion for this area of ministry stems from their own challenges of the past and then discovering God’s way for the Christian single life. Booth is Safety Director for Airporter Shuttle/Bellair Charters. Nicki is on staff at Cornwall Church as Community Life Director.
