BILL and PAM FARREL— Keynote Speakers Singles Conference

Bill and Pam Farrel are relationship specialists. The Farrels are international speakers and authors of more than 30 books, including their bestselling Men Are Like Waffles, Women Are Like Spaghetti (over 300,000 sold), Single Men Are Like Waffles, Single Women Are Like Spaghetti. The Farrels’ books have been translated into over 16 languages and have sold more than a half million copies. Dennis is well received by groups of all ages, life styles and denominational backgrounds. He is an energetic speaker communicating the promises, hope, and unconditional love of the Lord with a positive and personable approach.

With a heart of compassion for single adults as well as understanding the issues of singles. He emphasizes the absolute necessity of becoming a whole person spiritually, emotionally and relationally. He has written many articles on the issues of single adult living in various magazines. In 2007 he released his first book called “Reaching Single Adults - an Essential guide for ministry. He was appointed the National Director of Single Adult Ministries for the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO during the year of 2000.

DAVID MACFARLANE — Director of National Initiatives for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada.

He is a powerful engaging communicator who is entertaining and challenging. He is a sought after speaker because his message offers information and inspiration. He was born in Uruguay, Latin America. He came to Canada as an executive with the American Express Corp. Today David travels extensively as a Conference speaker and his practical, creative and surprisingly presentations. Previously David served with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. David and his wife Diana live in Waterloo, ON. David MacFarlane will be speaking at the very elegant Saturday Evening Banquet. You definitely do not want to miss this event!

GREG OTTERHOLT— Worship Leader

We have invited Greg back due to popular demand. He was such a big hit at the Singles Christmas in the Country Banquet as well at the last Singles Conference in Semiahmoo Resort, WA.

He will kick-off the Conference on Friday Evening. Throughout the weekend you’ll find Greg and his group of 7 inspiring and encouraging. The worship is uplifting and singable. It is energetic praise. It is soft reverent worship. It is simply the right message, shared the right way at the right time, to the right audience.

Greg has been seen on television’s Wild World of Sports for ski racing and appeared in the pages of Gold Digest. He has had a successful career in radio and television broadcasting. He was an anchor and weather reporter for KVOS TV until January 2007. He now resides in Bellingham, WA.

LINDA PENDER—Workshop Speaker

This will be the sixth year that Linda will participate in the Conference. Numerous singles have always requested that she return for another year. Linda is a single person and she brings more than 20 years of experience working with singles and singles’ groups. She is a counselor and a noted conference speaker. Her speaking engagements have brought her to many areas of Canada and the USA. She comes to us from the Seattle Washington area and will be conducting several workshops
such as "How to walk in Godly sexuality" and "Betrayed - Rejected - Freedom". Her passion is to help those who are caught in the turmoil of fear and distress. She is an encourager!

DICK PURNELL — A Day With Dick Purnell

Dick will be discussing and focusing on “Staying Strong in Today’s World”. Dick has spoken to audiences in all 50 States in the US and 13 countries. He has spoken at the Billy Graham Training Centre at the Cove in North Carolina. Dick has written many titles including several books for Single Adults.

Dick is the Executive Director for Single Life Resources, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. He has served as a pastor and is an adjunct professor at the New Life Bible College in Moscow, Russia. Currently, he travels throughout America and other countries speaking on topics relating to singles.
